MEET THE DIRECTORS
Katie Norris and Hannah Norris are the co-founders and directors of Messy Play Fun, bringing over 25 years of combined experience in the early years sector. Both hold NVQ Level 3 qualifications in early years education and have been part of successful Ofsted inspections rated as good and outstanding. They have used their deep understanding of child development to create engaging, interactive experiences for children and parents to enjoy together.
At Messy Play Fun, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. Having worked extensively with children of varying needs, we ensure that all our activities are welcoming and adaptable to suit children of all ages and abilities. Our mission is to provide a fun, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Messy Play is a wonderful opportunity for children to unleash their creativity, fueled by their natural curiosity. Through hands-on exploration, they engage their senses and discover the joy of learning in a playful, unstructured way.
This type of play is more than just getting messy—it’s a foundation for developing essential skills. As children pour, mix, squish, push, pat, and scoop, they enhance their motor skills, creativity, and imagination. At the same time, they practice valuable social skills like sharing, taking turns, and interacting with their peers.
